Join us this Saturday at 10:30am at Palmer Square for Kidical Mass where parents accompany children on a fun, free, family-friendly bicycle ride. Adults w/o children--we would love to see you too. (The more adults the better, to help with corking and herding--opening the streets to the next generation of transvelopedes!)

The ride leaves at 11am, rain, shine, or snow (eek!). This Saturday's ride will start with a lap around Palmer Square where children who aren't able to bike the whole ride may tool around for a bit. Then we will leave Palmer and head north on Kedzie, east on Logan, south on Sacramento, east on Altgeld, north on Mozart, east on Logan again, south on Fairfield, east on Altgeld, and take the alleyway southwest to Haas Park. The ride will end there. After some free time in the park, we will try to possy up and help people ride back home or to Palmer if they need assistance.

I have recruited my next door neighbor and roommate to help cork and herd on Saturday. I'll be back form the plant sale in time to meet y'all at Haas!
I will try to be there.
Ken, you really deserve a shot out. At our meeting Monday night we were all remarking on how welcome your attendance and assistance is on our rides. You were an adult rider before it was cool!

Thanks, Ash.  and I'm still learning.  Safe, courteous riding and being a good example are just a few things I like to focus on.

Sorry I couldn't attend the meeting.
