The amount of work will seasonally fluctuate according to business needs. Currently we have a significant amount of work that needs to get done for the 2011 season. We also anticipate having a significant amount of work beginning this fall (October/November) in preparation for our 2012 events.
You must be available to participate in all of our events. During our events you will either act as a full time paid staff member should our participation levels warrant it, or ride as a participant free of charge as part of your compensation and available to work as a contingency if needed. This will primarily be a home-based position. Compensation will initially be paid on an hourly contract basis, changing to a commission basis in the future. Gosh darn! I vowed to go 5 years without driving/renewing my license. well, that and I had a speeding ticket back in '06 ;-) This sounds like a great opportunity. Good luck filling the position!
Ironic that one of the requirements for a cycling event is driving.
Long distance rides were never for me, 30 miles is my maximum, but good luck hope it goes well.
