it simply fast vs slow

Elston is fast and Milwaukee is slow. The only place Milwaukee is not slow is south of Elston and even that section is slower than the entire lengtrh of Elston. How fast do you want to go?

Milwaukee is always South of Elston and Elston is always North of Milwaukee.

Therefore Milwaukee is faster when heading downtown and Elston is faster leaving downtown.

But it is always slower than all of Elston

Elston is 9.5 miles long. Milwaukee from Elston to Elston is 9.3 miles, but it has twice the stop lights.
