This is what I do on a Thursday night when I have a 40" hanging plant stand, a handful of 8" nylon wire ties, two 40" bungee cords, and a cargo net.  I think the bungees on the bottom are doing most of the pulling, while the plant stand is doing pretty much what it was designed to do, swing a bit and hold something sort of heavy upright.  If I added a piece of aluminum angle to support the entire bike, now that would be something....

You're opening a bike towing service and that's your first customer? You're towing this guy's bike into the bathroom for a good cleaning...'

Do I get a "craptacular", anyone?
That's the kitchen. I guess if somebody wants a bike towed I can help. I've been quizzing myself about this for awhile. A Yakima rack or something you find on the CTA would be better. However, I only spent $25 for the stand because I already had everything else. I suppose the hook might get bent down and make this whole thing useless, but I'd like to find out how long it will last. At least the phrase "welded steel" gives me some confidence.
