The Kryptonite kit comes with 2 SDS-drive masonry bits. You'll need to rent a rotary hammer from Home Depot to do the job. They will either have a Hilti or a Bosch drill to fit your needs. Bring in the drill bits that come with the kit so they can fit the right drill. A regular drill will not cut it but a real rotary hammer will do it fine -probably the smallest one they rent will power through it. I think the largest drill is a 3/4" or maybe even smaller. You only have to drill down about 1-1/2" if I remember right when I put mine in. A good rotary hammer will do the holes in about 20-30 seconds even in the hardest concrete. Trying to use a buzz-tool "hammer-drill" will take hours if not forever. Using a regular non-hammer drill will take a full forever.
Get the right tool. I doubt the rental will not cost much more than $20 or so.
