If a Divvy station is installed in a planned location, and then disappears completely after a week or so,

and it doesn't happen on the north side...

did it really happen?

did you check the Chicago Stolen bike registry?

Was it one of those stations that they installed on that record breaking installation day?  If they just threw out off the back of the truck like a newspaper, maybe someone picked it up and took it home?

I know a certain lawyer on the north-side who would love for the Divvy station to appear as a parked car.

I have seen an on-street bike rack in Copenhagen that had a fiberglass cover in the shape of a car body.

The station next to the Belmont Red/Brown/Purple 'L' was removed so that the sidewalk could be worked on, but no one bothered to find a new location for it. It was just removed entirely until the sidewalk repaving is complete.

Yep, that rare pink car

Totally don't get this. The sidewalk was in fine shape.

At MBAC today CDOT said it would be back by Friday; then 15 stations would be installed over the weekend, bringing the total stations in service to 224 from today's 208.
