That's wonderful :)

Another great commute today. Barely a breath of wind. I overheated a couple of times and ended up just unzipping my wind breaker completely and removing my gaiter.

The photo (hopefully attached) is actually from Saturday, when my boyfriend and I took the lakefront trail down to Polar Adventure Day on Northerly Island. But I rode downtown to work today too, and I must say it was a lot easier!

Best  one to date.

Nice ride in today, indeed.

Additional apologies to the fellow that tried to follow me and another rider through a choppy, icy spot at the north end of the LBP, and fell.

Be careful folks.

I'll admit to walking my bike across a couple of sections of the LFP today . . .

Tomorrow and Friday are supposed to be in low forties. I hope that will melt some of the many icy spots out there. I have not had any trouble, but it is kind of mildly annoying to have to pay so much attention to the road surface -  especially on a beautiful morning like we had today.

Gene, thanks for the wonderful pics!

It felt really liberating to get into the drops this morning!  Leashed to the hoods the past few weeks, feels like riding the brakes constantly.  The A.M. commute took me down Elston Ave.  Many bikes, yeah!  They drive bikes a little different on Elston ;) .  This would never happen on the Lincoln to Wells route :) .

As I waited for the red behind the white line, several cyclist pulled up in front of me, blocking the cross walk.  They all got passed in turn, with a, 'LEFT' as I approached, even the guy clipped in.  It helped being off the last two days and driving a clean freshly greased and oiled asphalt pounding '72 Super Sport.

The P.M. commute gave me a nice stitch in my side, woohoo for going hard again!

I forgot to ask about that bike last time it came up. Filet brazed right? Please tell me that it isn't a tall frame in orange so I don't have to go around coveting it!
