Heads up there's some weather in the forecast for Friday! It's calling for rain and snow showers with winds from the north at 25+ mph and gusts over 40 mph.

Winter is coming!

I wussed out Friday and left my bike at work. I rode to Promontory Point this morning. Took a few pictures of the leftovers from the storm. Here's a tease...

The top of the sunken Halloween Barge at Navy Pier.

Found this cut cable laying on the ground next to the bike racks where I park my bike in the morning.

Friday was really something, wasn't it? First time breaking out my winter gear since last Spring.

This is the best thing ever for Winter riding--available at fine Army Surplus stores everywhere:

Tell us more?

Did anyone participate in Critical Mass on Friday night? I was going to but the weather kept me away.

LFT back from Hyde Park, 6-ish, pretty dang empty, less than 10 other cyclists though nice to see that all had plenty of lights.  Have always been a fan of the convertible mittens.
