I did and I did not melt!  It was raining when I left, but not too hard, so I had the dilemma of rain jacket or not.  Finally decided to skip the rain jacket, deciding that I would rather be wet with rain than perspiration.  Cycling cap kept it out of my face and it was so quiet on the LFP!  Wet clothes hanging to dry, and I am glad I rode.
