Domenica, you're the best! Love, Fresh.

I use Kool Kovers as well for my Shimano cleats they work great.

Fantastic morning for the pedal into work.

I actually have some Look pedals that I found somewhere, just never bothered to see what cleats work with them.  So with those cleat covers, you just take them off every time you clip in, then put em back on when walking around?

I use Look KeO pedals. Between the "grippy" cleats and cheap cleat covers, I've not had any problem walking on smooth surfaces.

Got pix? Searching Google for "Ride pedals" is, to but it mildly, a bit of a vague query.

I looked at my pedals that I thought were "Look", but they aren't, they're "Ride".

Ha!  I tried to post one, but got a bunch of warning boxes asking if bla bla could access my computer or something so just didn't.  even the ride pedal pics are of a varity of kinds, mine must be older.  its got a flat platform, a small bar on the front (on a spring, its the moveable part), and wedge shape in back (where the back of shoe lodges in place, not moveable).  If I can get it Ill post one.

SORRY! now I got it, its not ride either, its "Time", I don't know what I'm thinking.  Bike, cat, dog, hat...

Time pedals.

Today, my mind was willing but my flesh was weak. (Like, literally - I have a sinus infection and don't feel too great.) But, the combination of great weather, a new bike itching to be out of the stable, and my wife being out of town made me venture out anyways. I decided to do Chicago-Wisconsin-Chicago and complete my Strava Gran Fondo challenge. Note to self for posterity - cycling a longer ride when sick doesn't make you a hardman; you're just too dumb for your own good.

81 miles.  Cool.  Nicely done!  Don't forget that a break at the Marina Garden on the Kenosha Harbor is a pleasant option.  The Evanston Bicycle Club's route to Lake Zurich is also very hilly and a great training run with the same amount of distance in mind.

Yeah, I wanted to keep heading up Sheridan/137 and get to downtown Kenosha, but the extra 14 miles round trip would have dragged on me. I had to really dip in to the well just to make it 85 miles - maybe in a few weeks or so I can do the same route with the added mileage.

Yep, rode today. That was some WIND. But I left a little late and made it on time, so I feel pretty fast. :)
