Sweet aerial acrobatic shots!  Jeez those transfers would have my guts in my mouth.

A buddy of mine and I rode The Two Rivers Century today.  Evan thou it's flatlandia down in Kankakee, I still used seven gears when the wind picked up in the afternoon.  This event attracted 300 riders, was well marked and had rest areas with great volunteers serving fresh fruit, water and ice.  Using a Loop System, people could ride 22, 47, 62, 80, 100, and 124 miles.  It was a blast.

These are from the trapeze school on the south side of Belmont harbor.

I have seen those folks--cannot imagine it!

Only rode about a mile today to run a couple of errands.  That ride in Kankakee sounds great.

Moon under under his Battle Charger, Cincinnati.  Terrific shot!

And yes, I had to look the up the horse's name.

I thought no one would notice, so thank you, my friend.

A lovely ride home--sort of .  Glad I brought the rain jacket.  I laughed as several of us stopped on the path at Ohio to put the jackets on as big drops started to fall.  No one at the beaches and did not have to dodge a single pedestrian.

The wind was not fun.  I should have turned into the park at North Avenue, but toughed it out to Fullerton.  According to the glerl.noaa web site, winds at the Harrison-Dever Crib were north/northeast at about 14 knots at 4:30 and up to 25 knots at 5:00.

That's funny.  I actually saw a dude riding with an umbrella yesterday after I'd already got home totally soaked.

Yes.

We were celebrating Rich's departure giving Rich a send off party for his two weeks trip and got caught in the rain that started at around 1:30 AM last night from Logan Sq. By the time we got north, it was pouring really hard. It was really fun, though!
