Had a great 40 mile loop using parts of the N. Shore Channel Trail and the N. Branch Trail and some streets in between. It's the first ride of the year where I dressed for summer: cycling shorts, short sleeve jersey and fingerless gloves. Wasn't cold!
Took a quick ride down the LFP to Montrose and shot some time lapse of the sunny day...
I have my cold weather riding get up down pat, and my warm weather gear all set, but this "in between" weather is going to require a lot of tinkering.

Fun, fun, fun in the sun! Warm air and sun are positively liberating!
"Derailleur into spokes is the 'L' screw." -- Dug. Nice, I'm glad someones paying attention to my screws.
"At least he isn't a "dork" with that "ugly" disk..." -- James. Hey I resemble that remark. ; )
Mark that forth shot transports me. It could be from any one of fifty different countries.
Skipton, digging the the death grip. ; )
Gene thanks for the magic, as always.
What a beautiful ride today! Warm with a light headwind. Glorious!
I have to agree today wasn't too bad- I started out in the rain this morning, but with the warmth, the little bit of rain didn't bother me one bit! Yesterday, well yesterday was fantastic- I rode 50 miles and enjoyed the weather by the lakefront.
Ride in this morning was PERFECT. Even in the rain.
Shorts and no gloves!
The ride was great... Even though I was on my TERRIBLE back-up bike (Stupid Wal-mart bike, has to weigh at least 60#s). Really missed my fenders! Ready for the rest of the week, praying the tune-up is done today so I can really enjoy the weather!!
The weather is amazing!! When there is amazing weather, Jenn gets chatty. I apologize to anyone I start chatting up...
Saw a beautiful orange sunrise over lake Michigan this morning, and I had no appreciable headwind for my southbound morning ride along the lake for the first time commuting this season. Buried at work but it's going to be a great day!
