My ride was fantastic today, to add to the chorus! I pulled up to a red light at Lincoln and Diversey (I think) and saw a middle-aged guy in a car beside me, windows rolled up, lighting up a cigarette and looking haggard and unhappy.. all I could think was how much better his quality of life would be right now if he was on a bike feeling the wind on his face and the sunshine on his shoulders like me!

Just my fanciful thoughts while I ride...

Yes.  Maybe even nicer than yesterday.  Took LFP to Oak, then over to Wells to check out the cycletrack in Kinzie.

Still some issues there...

Today was gorgeous and made my commute so much more pleasant.  I would like to thank the guy in black on the gold/ champagne colored Raleigh singlespeed for the great pace he set from Leland and Lincoln all the way to Diversey. I was running about 15 minutes late today and he was just zooming along, so I just stepped up my pace, kept him in sight and made it to work early instead of being late.  Even got my heart rate up a bit. Thanks!
I'm not wanting this weather to end.  Another glorious commute.  I love this city in the summer!

Amazing.

That's all.

It's the last day of nice weather before the oppressive heat and humidity roll in.  I took advantage of it and rode to work today.  Gorgeous!

I could not have asked for a better week to get back to bike commuting.

I even had great stop light timing today and not much traffic downtown.

shouldn't this be changed to "I rode - Summer 2011"?

Maybe "Spring through Fall"

Winter is indeed it's own animal, after all!
