I need a room mate!

Hey ya'll, I need a roomie. The rent is cheap and the apartment is great plus there's the added bonus of living with me! If you know me, you know how I roll. If you don't know me, there's a little tidbit about me somewhere in here. It's a huge apartment and it's available June 1st. It's got wonderful hardwood floors, ceramic tile. Two huge living/dining rooms (one of which is currently a bike repair/storage space) but the space is open to interpretation. Over all it's a pretty amazing place to live. Lots of natural light. 

It's close to the Division bus and just a little bike ride away from the El or Metra. 

The place is awesome, but what about me? 

I ride bicycles all the time. Love music, art, science, nerdy robotics stuff, bicycles. Pretty stoked that the new place is like four blocks from the Empty Bottle. I don't actually own a television but I'm into Netflix on my 22" monitor. I'm not home a ton, but when I am it's important that it feel like home. I'm a pretty busy guy. 32, pay my bills on time. I went to art school. I'm about to start school again at IIT this time for Civil Transportation Engineering. I also ride a pedicab during the summer. I type on a typewriter, smoke a pipe and am pretty much a big dork.

I've been thinking very hard about getting a cat. I love cats and am pretty alright with dogs, but cats are definitely better companions, in my opinion. 

I'm not looking for a best friend but it would be nice if we like each other well enough to live with. 

Did I mention I pay my bills and rent on time? You should too. 

No preference on gender, or sexual preference (I'm straight if it matters), just be a cool, intelligent, forward thinking and not a hermit or a crazy! Oh and if you're going to try to convert me to some sort of religion, make it a really good one, like Scientology or something like that..I could see those conversations being quite fun! If you're interested you should stop by and we can have a cup of coffee out on the porch and we can see if we might make good room mates.

You might not be getting anyone to bite due to your lack of listing the cost of rent, if utilities are included, amount of security deposit if any, etc.

You still need a room mate? I'm looking too ... I do have a cat and 1 dog (a wiener) - so you won't have to get a kitten. I just friended you, so I will send you an e-mail once you add me.
