Everyone I have ever spoken with who also lives here has made me feel like a freak for not owning a car/riding a bike everywhere. Should I feel as though I am slowly gaining acceptance?

I found out about this page when I found a rack full of Glenview bike maps at the public library yesterday. GLENVIEW BIKE MAPS!!
