CTA Job Fair, July 30th

Starting this month, the CTA will be hosting a variety of job fairs to hire part time bus operators. CTA plans to hire as many as 400 part time bus operators as part of the 2012 Red Line South track renewal process. The first job fair will be on Monday, July 30th at Chicago State University, 9501 S. King. Other job fairs will be Tuesday, August 28th at National Teachers Acadamy, 55 W. Cermak, and Saturday, September 15th at Kennedy-King College, 6301 S. Halsted. All of the job fairs are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. These job fairs will provide information about the skills and training needed to become a bus operator, including the need for a Class "B" Commercial Driving License and about CTA's hiring process as well.
