Either way only rocking one way to stop your bike is a poor choice. Cars where re-engineered in the late 60's for that very same reason; having a single point of failure between you and a collision is never a good idea...

Dude you're on. I say we use the road by West Town as testing grounds.

1. Ride from point A to B and stop using different bikes and brake styles. A good road bike, old cruser, fixed (with and without a front brake), single speed freewheel, coaster brake bike, oh man this is going to be so much fun!

LOL, sorry big D. I always have to edit the chainlink html code when responding to folks, I f-ed it up and deleted it to rewrite. Had no idea you were sitting at the comp frothing at the mouth.

Oh Man! We need to get all Mythbusters on this battery of tests. Can we blow something up at the end too? I say why not :)

I am having what we like to refer to as a 'slow day' this afternoon so I really have nothing better to do then be mean on the internet.

LOL, I'm seriously already thinking about how to conduct Mythbuster like testing. 10mph 15mph 20mph. We so need a high speed camera. And costumes are totally required!
