Is it just me or have other people noticed the same thing?

At least twice a week or so, when riding my bike along the lake front trail, I spot an empty Newport cigarette box somewhere along the way. 

When I was in college, I spoke with a guy who was living in a dorm where it turns out most everyone smoked Newports, so they decided to call themselves the Horts. 

One of the great enigmas in my life. Must be that menthol smoothness.
