Facebook has refused to remove the site in question:

I'm not really sure that protesting a Facebook group is a good use of time (and I say this as a very active Facebook user), but it looks like what's done is done. The offending group has not been active for a couple of months--I'm sure the creator and users got bored.

Let's just hope they STAY bored and that the warmer weather doesn't make them bloom like mildew!

It's just a facebook group, do people really need to protest it? And as much as I may not like the idea of it, it's the internet and this is the United States, they have every right to have that group and speak their minds

Just looked in on this... gotta love the culture-jamming. Some of the founding cagers are crying about "taking back our site." LOL!

Well, Facebook is private, and they have terms of agreement that include not inciting violence. I'm sure Chainlink users agreed to something similar when we signed up. I think there was a good argument for reporting this group and having it removed--I just don't think it's worth the effort of a large-scale protest. There are lots of groups on Facebook whose content is offensive to me. I can't spend my time worrying about all of them though.

This is weird.

I hit the link for the anti-cycling facebook page that we're being asked to protest.

In the left-hand column, among the first three "fans" I see is a guy I went to high school with and has been trying to "friend" me. Looks like I won't be accepting his friend request. :-)
