Amber, why don't you ride it home? The ride from McHenry isn't that bad at all.. While a long ride, making a day of it could be fun..

In McHenry hop on the Prarie Trail toHave a good route?
Low tires? What a weak excuse to worm out of a 15-mile trek on suburban highways and glass-strewn paths on a single-speed trike on a balmy February day.
Lame-O!!!
Yeah, I know. Forgive me for not wanting to ride 50 miles home "on suburban highways and glass-strewn paths on a single-speed trike on a balmy February day." ;)

Perhaps you could bring a set of tubes with you and some kind of internally geared hub...
I have not been on the Prairie Path since last summer, but over the years I've put a lot of miles in on it . I almost never see any glass on it. And as Amber notes it is way more than 15 miles.
As for the single speed crack, I did my longest FG ride so far last weekend - a bit over 40 miles. It was fun and not once did I long for gearing. (our flat city and burbs help of course)
But if this were me in this case, I'd spend the $30 to get the thing delivered.
I could help you out Sunday if you would like
Yes.Tell me more about this "single speed crack."
Is it a medical ailment? A controlled substance? Something one sneeks peeks at riding down Milwaukee on a warm summer day?
