Hazard in westbound Kinzie protected bike lane

To all you Kinzie riders:  be careful out there.  Tonight there were thick metal plates covering about 2/3 the width of the bike lane on the Kinzie protected bike lane (westbound) between Canal St and Milwaukee Ave (after you go over the bridge).  Stay away from these!

It was dark, my light was not fully charged, I got too close to one of them and wiped out.  Hello, road rash!
