Chainlink Peeps,
Just wanted to let you all know about the small (but growing) blog dedicated to all things adventure in the Great Lakes region. The Great Lakes Adventure Project lives on local races and activities (mountain, road, cross and gravel cycling; SUPing; adventure racing; kayaking; road and trail running; road trips; etc.) as well as sustainability and local sourcing (stay tuned for a upcoming post on farmers' markets).
If you have a minute, check us out. If you like the content or think we are missing something, we are always accepting submissions for the site. We will give you full credit and link to any website you wish.
Cheers,
Tom

Thanks for sharing this. There are some incredible destinations around the Great Lakes that are on par with the likes of the Grand Canyon in my opinion, and yet are practically a secret. Isle Royal, the Apostle Islands, Sleeping Bear Dunes...not to mention the Sleeping Giant and the whole Canadian side of the water. When I was in Marquette, MI in the UP, everyone spoke of how it was becoming a destination for mountain biking.
