"A bold attempt by 80 year old Florida resident Jerry Sebranke to stop thieves from stealing his unlocked bike while he made a quick visit to his bank was unsuccessful.

When he spotted a thief taking his bike and tossing it into the back of his pickup truck, he ran out and jumped on the truck to retrieve it but when jumping on, it accelerated and he didn't have strength to pull himself onto the bed and ended up falling off and getting injured and bleeding profusely in the parking lot.

The bike was never recovered. The folks at the bank bought him a new one in a presentation by them with the medics who treated him and with his family and friends."

Gutsy try Jerry, but you should try to get some kind of lock or chain. I guess you can't leave it outside for a minute even when it's in your view nowadays. At least they didn't get his helmet. It fell off !
