Fun group stuff, like riding with VdV, on Illinois Trail Corps' Indiegogo

Racer Christian Vande Velde and outdoors author Ted Villaire have something in common: they're both trail guys. And they don't mind company! We're delighted they're both part of fundraising for Illinois Trail Corps. We have great group excursions available as donor premiums that are perfect for an employee day or splitting with friends:

• Olympic Ride with VdV—For you and a guest: Small group ride (limited to 10) with Tour de France and Giro d'Italia veteran Christian Vande Velde, your ride leader around the course he helped design for Chicago's Olympic 2016 bid in HILLY Lemont, Illinois. Christian has even offered to give you a push uphill if needed. ALL riders get our socks, an Illinois Trail Corps t-shirt, and a Trails for Illinois sticker.

• Overnight Hike for 5 with Ted Villaire + $250 at REI—Grab four friends or employees and hit Lake Shelbyville's 11-mile Illini Trail with Illinois outdoorsman and author Ted Villaire, camping overnight in the beautiful Lake Shelbyville recreation area, PLUS get a $50 REI gift card for each person on your hike, PLUS a copy of Ted's guidebook "Camping Illinois," PLUS an Illinois Trail Corps t-shirt. And our sticker. Hike to be coordinated with Ted for September.

• REI Private Kayak or Bike Trip for 10—Bring up to 10 friends or employees out for a 1/2 day tour of the Chicago River by kayak or Chicagoland trails by bike with REI's professional instructors. REI provides equipment & support for your group, PLUS we'll throw in an Illinois Trail Corps T-shirt if you kayak or our socks if you're cycling so you all can fly your colors as trail builders. You will coordinate with REI to arrange the tour. Where you put the sticker, also included, is up to you.
