So I picked up a plastic cup holder that clamps onto your handle bars at a thrift store for like 50 cents, and now it's yours for FREE!

Frankly it doesn't work too well, my cup's always bouncing out, but if you're prone to slow boardwalk rides on your cruiser, it just might work for you.

Let me know.

Huh, can't believe no one wants this. ;-)

Oh well, into the parts bin it goes.
Our handlebars are all too small now to accommodate such a thing. See the stupid (but funny) "Performance" video for reference.

i would take it! i'm out of town right now, though, so i figured someone who could pick it up sooner rather than later should get dibs on it.

i have older handlebars that are probably small enough in diameter to work with it. you didn't exactly give a shining recommendation of the thing, but i'm assuming it'll hold a water bottle?
It's really for a coffee cup, not a water bottle, the bottom is too shallow I think to really hold a water bottle. *phew* scared off that person ;-)

Interesting ideas for sure, let's just say that I have WAY too many projects to bother with this, but maybe the next owner...

Have you thought about putting Velcro on the bottom of it and the bottom of your cup? That might help, or adding some sort of buffer on the sides of the holder? Idk what the holder looks like, but maybe something like tape piece of an old t shirt or something along the insides to make it more snug.
