OH WOW!!!!! That's my bike :) :) :) <3
hoooooraaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!!!! oh man, I can't tell you how happy this makes me!
Excellent work!
Not to be a buzz kill, but I've now learned which bike this is.
It was listed on the Chicago Stolen Bike Registry almost immediately on June 27.
If you enter "Stolen [make] Chicago" in google it's the very top hit.
Had you looked at the Registry before starting this thread you would have seen it on the first (most recent) page, maybe even at the very top.
Would be interested to know where the search process faltered?

Thanks to everyone for keeping this thread alive until Zach saw it.

True, the internal search needs some kind of attention I'm not technical enough to give it
-- Michael was this your specific problem?
Laura said:problem is that you need to search in google! searching in the registry gets you nothing!

Hadn't had time to do the math . . .
It would have been somewhere between 10th and 12th listing down the first page when you started this thread . . . any suggestions on how we could make the site easier to use?
I can find out if it can be set to display by date of theft rather than date of entry-- need to think through the pros and cons though (help appreciated.)
Michael Millican said:Didn't realize the site displayed things out of date order.
