SOLD: Handsome XOXO (B-Stone XO-1 Tribute/Copy) 53cm Frameset - Components Optional

I am selling my pumpkin orange Handsome XOXO 53cm frameset (http://handsomecycles.com/bicycles/xoxo.php).

This is a tough one and hate to see it go, but I am not tall and this frame is just a bit too large for me.  I was hoping to make this work as an awesome all-rounder.  This is a geometric copy of the rare and accordingly expensive Bridgestone XO-1, made of TIG-welded Reynolds 631 tubing (original B-Stones were lugged) with a lugged fork.  Road bike geometry with 26" ATB wheels (will comfortably take up to 2" tires; I understand people have converted these to 650B wheels with Tektro CR720 brakes).  The ride is wonderful.

The frame has down tube shifter bosses (barcons are typical with this frame) and braze-ons for water bottles and fenders.  Takes a 27.2 seatpost (I have the full specs from Handsome), and has a 1" threaded steerer (uses a quill stem).

I rode this frame maybe 200 miles tops.  The frame is nearly perfect except for the tiniest ding in the right fork arm (no idea how that happened) and some scratched paint on the drive-side chain stay, which you can't see with cranks installed.  There may be a tiny chip or two from riding on limestone trails.

So here are the options:

1)  You can purchase the frame and fork for $550.  This includes a virtually new and excellent headset (Cane Creek 110--sealed bearings), a virtually new cartridge bottom bracket (IRD Quad 118mm) and Handsome seat post collar.  You will need about 15-17mm worth of 1" spacers for the headset given the length of the steerer tube.

2)  If you don't want the headset and bottom bracket, I can remove them and sell the frame, fork and seat collar for $500.

3)  You can buy the frame with all the components shown in the photos for $700.  In addition to the Cane Creek 110 headset and IRD bottom bracket, you get:

- a virtually new IRD Defiant Crank (165mm road double, 130BCD, 53T/39T);

- Shimano Deore rear derailleur (RD-M591) (used with about 1,000 miles on it--works perfectly, but has some gouging from a curb strike);

- virtually new Nitto Albatross bars (55cm/25.4) with a Kalloy AL-222 forged aluminum stem.  Bars will accept MTB brakes and bar-end shifters;

- set of Tektro Oryx brakes (no cables);

- a vintage but lightly used Matrix Singletrack wheelset (c.1990-92 vintage) with Deore LX hubs (HB-M550; same vintage as rims).  Hubs are smooth and have been repacked.  Wheels have been recently tensioned and trued.  These are bomb-proof rims.

- a pair of Continental Travel Contact tires (26 x 1.75), used with about 500 miles on them and with new tubes.  They show some wear but have tons of life left in them.  Great city tires.

4) I would be willing to sell any of the components individually as follows OBO:  crank $100; derailleur $25; bars & stem $50; brakes $10; wheelset & tires $65.

Feel free ask any questions.  I can post additional photos.

That bike, alone or with the parts, is a steal.
