Frame is in great condition: straight and true, no accidents, no dents.  Engraved lugs, braze-ons, stem. Original Guerciotti chromed fork and chainstays, original paint and decals. Minor chrome pitting on forks and stays; paint shows minor wear and a few small chips.

What's the price?

How does $950 sound?

Are the wheels 700? or some odd size

Yes. The wheels are 700c Mavic MA2 rims: 36 spoke, Presta valves.

Sean, that's a very nice bike.  Too bad it's not about 6cm larger...

Thank, Skip. I suspect a suggestion of a REALLY LONG seat post is probably not the best idea? More seriously, if you do happen across someone of a more appropriate size, please pass on the link.

Unfortunately, I've already come to the conclusion that my two 58cm bikes are too small, and will need to move onto other homes.

I hope the new owner treats this beauty with respect!

Thanks Chris. I hope so too. If you know anyone looking for a vintage Italian racing bike, please pass along the link. I'd appreciate it.
