Howard : I will help out with whatever shift is needed.

Dan

sending you am email also

Hi Howard,

If I don't end up getting a table, I would be happy to help out.

Thanks, folks! Dan and Serge-- you're in-- will be in touch to get the contract signed and the bloodwork started . . . Moc, you can help more by getting a table but will love to9 have you :-)

I'm waiting to hear back from my partners at Active Trans to nail this down, but volunteer duties will include:

-being "stationed" in one part of a room to assist vendors or visitors as needed, and keep exits secure

-helping with setup/teardown

-helping vendors with loading/unloading

-helping at the Bike Winter table

-possibly helping at the entrance/check-in although that may be handled by Active Trans staffers

-helping get the presentations going/ keep things running smoothly (A/V skills a plus)

-being avaliable to wo/man a table if a vendor needs to step away for lunch or whatever

A few other things I don't have time to think of right now.  Does that help?

We got the schedule broken out.  I'll add it to the top post, which can be edited indefinitely.

See above.

Hey Howard:

I'd love to help, just let me know where you need me!

Paul

I'll take a shift whenever and wherever there's need.
Thanks, folks. Consider yourselves confirmed-- will be in touch for contact info as needed; only about 40 more volunteers needed.

Rounding up contact info . . . Dan check e-mail, Serge please approve friend request.

At this point there are only . . . about 40 slots to fill-- additional help needed!

One thing to consider-- the Bicycle Film Festival has apparently chosen the evenings of Feb 25 and 26 for their Chicago engagement (Viaduct Theater); I don't know how firm they are (seems like we should have heard more about it by now) but if that event is dear to your heart you may prefer to volunteer for the CSS Saturday over Friday evening.

I didn't want this to get out, but I'm capable of doing the work of at least three volunteers...

Thanks to everyone who's responded-- we're about halfway there!

Just under 3 weeks out from the event . . .

Most needed at this point are any of the 7 AM slots (whod'a thunk?) and the room steward/security/floater spots-- at least 6 needed for each shift.  Thanks for any additional help!

I have a table....so I'm thinking that is kind of precluding me from volunteering.  If there is anything I can do while at my table...I'm happy to do!
How's the volunteer staffing going?
