Streets Alive! is a new inclusive and creative event for Evanston, Illinois! It's Sunday, September 7th. 

Main Street will be closed to motorized traffic from Hinman Avenue to the Robert Crown Center, from 1:00 to 6:00pm. Our goals are to inspire people to walk and bike more, and to show how our streets can have other uses besides just moving traffic. The street will be packed with fun activities, performances and demonstrations for people of all ages. We will have music, theater, dance, art and poetry; food trucks, yoga, Zumba, basketball, bike rodeo, bike safety instruction, skatepark, hula hooping, limbo and much more! Bring your walking shoes, bike, skateboard or scooters!
