Email verification for The Chainlink?

Has anyone else had to verify their email address before they could log on lately? What's the scoop kids?

I have been on other lists that automagically poll all users...and if it gets a failure; it automagically drops you. I think they are called subscription probes. this was a listserver...not sure about ning
