Ed Begley Jr. Ride for Change - any info?

I found the initial info on Ed Begley's ride for change, but I haven't heard anything else about it. Does anyone know about it? Is it open to the public? I gots the scoop.

This is not a city sanctioned ride.

Mr. Begley Jr. will be making a very early morning stop at the WGN studios for an interview and then proceed to make his way to the Loop. Destination: Millenium Park. Once there, he'll give 'the speech' and then prance up and down Mich for a few hours giving out random gear. He's also doing at interview at Intelligencia on Randolph sometime after all the prancing. I believe he will then do a meet and greet with the Mayor and press.

Did I mention the free stuff being handed out between like 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.?
