Earth Hour Now

We as cyclists already do a lot for the environment, but if you are home now you may want to celebrate Earth Hour. I"m typing in the dark....with a plugged in laptop but oh well....

Kerolamp stunk up the house but my laptop was unplugged.

Tomorrow night, Saturday March 31st, is Earth Hour 2012, from 8:30 PM to 9:30, local time (wherever you happen to be).  For that hour, turn off the TV.  Power down the computer.  Shut off the lights.  And take a walk around your city, or a bicycle ride, to experience how to live without electricity or gasoline, as so many do around the world.

Absolutely!  Just drink all the beer before it gets warm.  Easy!

I'm interested in the portable solar panels, enough on a sunny day to run a laptop,tv, charge your smart phone...not at the same time though.

Turning off my computer & lights in 6 minutes.  Nice evening for a bicycle ride, I think.

Earth hour just turned into a nice 4 hour nap! Now it's bedtime, cool!
