DPRT to North Branch Trail via the North Shore Bike Path

Trying to find a good route between the des plaines river trail to the North Branch Trail (to the botanic garden).  Having trouble finding a good route.  Can anyone help?

Devon is a direct connection.  Where are you coming from? Des Plaines river trail is a long trail.

From the Des Plaines area around golf.  I'd be heading north then.
