If your shoes don't have that handy loop thingie to tack the laces in, like here:

Use hair elastic band, like this:

Much better than triple-tie them.

Those are good ideas!

I never thought of using that little "tab" thing for other than making sure my laces didn't give me a hot spot due to the crossing at that point.

Or you can tuck them into your shoe on either side of your foot.

It works for me. The weight and size of my feet keep mine tucked away.
