Man the rubber in my 4 Seasons tires has always intrigued me by the way it throws rocks around - do other tires do this? My old Marathons didn't I don't think. Yesterday on the commute conti launched a big rock and hit a car. I'm fortunate this did not happen in a worse neighborhood. It  took some explaining to the irate driver that I never took my hands off my handlebars so how could I have thrown something...

With all the debris out there m, you're bound to throw(repel) stones(rocks) in every direction. Time for street sweeping.
5 bikes all with different brand tires running different pressures, and every one will kick stones/gravel/debris if I hit it right. That said, my Gatorskins that run at higher pressures seem to kick stones with greater frequency and velocity.

I have never been confronted by a driver over stones hitting his/her car, but I also make a point of not looking over when I hear a stone bounce off the body work.
