So, this winter I have yet to see any Divvy stations cleared of snow, let alone salted.

I thought this was supposed to be a thing?

I don't really use downtown stations, so I can't speak to those, but from what I've seen outside of the loop, there is a significant lack of maintenance. *read: no snow removed*

It's not like we've had a snomageddon this winter. What gives?

Anybody else have any insights here? Do your local Divvy stations get cleared?

I've had the same problem at a few Lakeview and River North stations since the February deep freeze. The snow is an inconvenience, but when the docks (or whole stations) are down it is beyond frustrating. I either have to walk to the next station to check out a bike or hop back on the bike to check it in at the closest station. The biggest pain is when my mid-commute dock (my ride is over 30 minutes, so I dock about half way through my commute) takes my bike, but won't give me another bike because the station has some sort of error. The Divvy customer service has been great "completing" rides for me so I can check out the bike again, but there is only so much they can do over the phone.

Despite all of the above, Divvy still RULES over CTA. I rode every day in February, and even when I have to walk to another station I'm still faster than the bus or El. (I store my personal steeds during the winter to save them from sacrifice to the salt gods and only ride Divvy until the streets are free of salt and snow.) I hope next week's warm up allows them to get maintenance done.
