Cyclists pushed, antagonized & arrested by abusive cops at g-20 elite meeting

This really sucks. And no, she really didn't "throw" her bike at a cop or injure anyone. A reflection on how far our society has sunk, when abusive, sociopath cops are pushing cyclists, that are moving as they were told, antagonizing them, and then arresting them when they speak up about being pushed around. Democracy is sunk.

As a society, we should better screen our civil servants.

Totally agree with you, although I would like to see video leading up that incident because it always gives a better perspective on what is unseen and leading up to such unfortunate events. i am not a real big fan of the police, although it helps that I have been making friends with them all year. Gives me a little leverage in situations that might call for it.
i hope the cop is sued for pushing her. i hope the girl finds out who the guy is and goes and talks to him (without is stick and armor on). i hope the cop realizes we're all people and you don't launch a rod into someone's face. i'm so sick of power-trippers.
Maybe they were sleeping/living each other and he found out she lied about where she was really going that night.

Okay, so she is moving as instructed (obviously blocked by the bikes in front of her) and he pushes her but she can't retaliate? Nazis! If this *man* was not wearing a badge this would be assault! You fought the good fight sista. Power to the people!
