Just curious, but what type of experience are you looking for? This isn't for me as I am already working the 9-5 grind, but would someone who loves to bike, can build their own bikes to fit their specific needs and wants, and is learning about all the different components and such, and is very comfortable talking about bicycles and their advantages still have the qualifications you are looking for, even if they have little to no retail experience?

That sounds great! We want to talk to anyone who loves bikes. Encourage them to stop by the store or send us a resume - just make sure an interest in bikes is mentioned somewhere in the email. A lot of our other Chicago area stores are hiring for the summer season as well!

Is PB building more stores in the city, more in the burbies, or both?  The single store in Lincoln Park is nice for me as I'm not THAT that far away to visit, but more locations within the city proper would be nice.

Unfortunately, we're not opening any stores in the Chicago area this year. I'm not sure about the plans for next year.

I am the Store Manager of Performance Bicycle Northbrook and i have lived in the city for most of my life.

I know the trek can be difficult from the city, i did it for 6 months as the Operations Manager here. The Metra North Line to Kenosha is a great resource.

I am currently looking to fill positions in Management that would be full time, and many part time positions. I need Mechanics, Sales Associates and some Team Leaders. We are working to improve the guest experience up here at Northbrook. I am a cyclist that loves to help other cyclists enjoy the experience. If you share the same passion for the sport i feel then this is the place for you. I have been with the company for 4 years now and am happy i found a career that i love. Message me or email your resume to the store at pbs032mgr@performanceinc.com.
