CTA bike blackout: June 28 and 30

From CTA's Facebook feed, they have indicated that bikes will be banned on both Friday (the 28th) and Sunday (the 30th) ALL DAY on trains for the parades.

This is quite annoying, especially for the Friday ban.

The poster is the same one that they use yearly for the 4th of July as well, with "Buy your transit in advance," "No bikes on trains," and "Fold strollers."

Perhaps the CTA should ban the vagrants that are always panhandling on the Red Line when I commute to work?

It's just dumb for it to be all day. Last CCM I rode, I got a flat and was super happy to be able to jump on the train late and just be home. The trains will not be super crowded all darn day.
