Okay so above is the map for tonight's "Ring of Fire" ride. Thanks Andrew for all the help!

WE NEED "ROUTE LEADERS!" So if you want to be in the front, be the center of attention and would like to direct traffic please contact me at spencer@uglatto.com or call 1-312-725-6661. You'll get a lamented flyer out of the deal!

If you have a sound bike and want to sync soundtracks you can download the Best Damned Halloween Mixtape Sides A and B, here and here.
The Yes Men! are reported to bring their survival ball to Daley Plaza around 5:30 and play with us until we leave. It's possible they have something clever in store for us because they are supposed to ride off with their ball so I think this silly thing has wheels! Maybe we can convince them to join us on the first leg of the trip.
Alex Wilson of West Town Bikes fame is running a "Momentum Mori" which is a memorial ride for the cyclists who have been killed around the city. Inspired by the Ghost Bikes. Come join us for the procession this Friday, October 30th. They will meet at the Northwest corner of Clark and Randolph at 5:00pm to assemble for the ride. Dress in all white, as glammed up or ghouled out as you would like.

I'm hoping and praying all this rain is going to be over by the ride.

It won't stop me from going (since I've been looking forward to this for months!) but it can make it a lot less pleasant.

*crosses fingers*
i cannot wait. I may have some giveaways so come find me!
ditto and ditto from Dan.

Julie- call me ! I have an update on the Nite Ize !
A nice 20-mile route. I might hop on at Rosemont and Clark.

Momentum Mori Memorial Ride

Due to high winds and probable rain, we've rescheduled the ride to take part in the Haunted Paseo Boricua Parade. Please join us at 2:00 PM, 1:30 line up.

You may have seen the launch of the Lullabike project on a quiet summer night in July. Our next project is for the Halloween Critical Mass Ride, “Momentum Mori”, which is a memorial ride for the cyclists who have been killed around the city. Inspired by the “Ghost Bikes”, bikes painted white at locations where cyclists have been killed, our bike procession will feature a Crossing Guard Warrior Goddess on chariot led by Ghost Horses, flanked by Ghost Riders riding white bikes and dressed in all white.

We would like to have as many people as possible participate in this project as the Ghost Riders. Come join us for the procession this Saturday, October 31st. We will meet at the corner of Artesian and Division at 2:00pm to assemble for the ride. Dress in all white, as glammed up or ghouled out as you would like. You can temporarily color your bike white using a white "wash out" hair color spray, available at Sally Beauty Supply, or wig or party shops. You may also wrap white crepe paper around the frame and handle bars.

The ride starts around 2:00 and goes from the East flag to the West flag at California.
