Cool rear view mirror...

I was looking into clip on mirrors as I've been riding Divvy more and been finding a need for such a thing...

Yep, I saw them (or similar things made by someone else?) at the Chicago Bike Swap. Pretty neat!

I use the SafeZone mirror, myself. Looks very geeky but the mirror is large, covering a wide area, and will maintain its position in strong winds and over any bumps.

Looks pretty cool, but all I can think about is landing on it and getting a spoke driven into my brain.

I started wearing this style of mirror a few years ago because I rode Calvin's Challenge in Ohio and they've had a rider killed by not seeing a car behind and crossing into its path to make a left turn, so they've made them mandatory to participate. It took a few rides to get used to but now my brain has adapted and I feel naked without it. -Rich
