Comrade Cycles Grand Opening Thursday, March 1st 10am - 8pm

Hey folks! Comrade Cycles is pleased to announce that our worker-owned bike shop is finally open! Come on by Thursday for the grand opening and say hi! We'll have fresh coffee and treats from Bleeding Heart.

Didn't make it to the opening but I got hooked up with some new handlebars today.  The difference is night and day.  Great price, great experience overall.  The shop is clean and well-organized, and the staff is friendly and eager to help.  And... it's right next to the new Bleeding Heart Bakery, where I stopped in for the first time before heading over to Comrade.   :)

Also, it's just a couple doors down from Permanent Records, a fantastic place to buy great music without having to deal with the holier-than-thou attitude unfortunately found in many record stores and, uh, bike shops.  Looking forward to stopping by CC soon.

Agreed.  Had a great experience at Permanent a few weeks ago, too.  Wonderful selection, nice people.  I have to start hanging out around Chicago and Damen more.
