Making of Quadraphenia documentary in theaters next week:
I'd be 100% there for the show in October if it weren't at the G-D-M-F Allstate Arena.

Oh, I'd go to this even at the Allstate Arena.
It seems the beards have all grown longer overnight.
my first rock show ever : the Who at Bloomington , IN. 1974. I was very young and snuck out of the house to go. awesome show. but that was after they stopped destroying the instruments after each and every show...boo hoo.

Im SO GOING!!!
H - the show is November 29.
Did not get the chance to see them in '97, but did have fortune to meet Pete when he was in town. (wow!)
I'm too young to have seen Moon, but I did get to see them twice on the 96/97 tour and once in 2000, when Entwistle was still with us. This is absolutely my favorite album of all time. Since I have no expectations that this will be the real Who, I expect Pete and Roger and friends to do a great job and put on a good show.
I had the opportunity to do a tribute night at Reggies and perform the entire album a few months back. It's a real challenge. Here's a link: http://soundcloud.com/charlie-short/quadrophenia-live-may-31-2012 I'm playing bass and singing the Roger parts.
bike ride there?

Love the Who (the band not the brand) and Quadrophenia is in the top 3 of their albums for me. But the band ceased to exist when Keith died, plus I won't go to any venue that seats more than 3,000 people and much prefer 300. I don't mean to rain on your parade if you're going, sincerely hope you enjoy it. Just wouldn't be the same for me. Would love to see a Quadrophenia/The Kid's Are Alright double feature in a real movie theater. Saw them both when they were released, and seeing them again on the big screen with an appreciative audience would be great.
Not to highjack- but "who" saw the doc last night?
Was really interesting to hear Pete describe the process around the creation of the record. Really cool footage of Keith as well.
The discussion and conversation around the LP booklet with the photog was cool- had me checking out my LP- coolness.
Well done!
Is it bad that I became a fan after watching CSI TV shows?
