I lived there for a year. It has a really nice recreational trail next to the river and thru OSU and lots of bikers in the OSU area or High street. The main roads in the city are narrow and traffic wise are like Western or North ave. here.

The buses also stop around midnight, some 10 pm so if you go out on bike get tired and think you have options to get home you don't, other than a cab ride or riding back home.
