I really like how Claire outclimbed the guy while carrying a big load. The number of commutes was way too many. 50 weeks, 5 a week, 250 a year. 1500 between scenes is six years

Mike, I believe it was commute "miles". Commuting 1500 miles is easily achievable in less than a year.

Commute was 15 minutes by car, 30 with traffic, "same as on a bike". At least her early commutes were about that time. My guess would be 5-8 miles one-way. 1500 miles @ 6.5 miles-per-trip X 2 trips per day = about 115 days. A little less than 6 months.
