City Bicycling Class for Kids?

Hi all,

I'm looking for some information. Do you know about any classes or formal instruction on city street bike riding that's geared toward kids age 10-13ish? I do know about Kidical Mass, and about REI's How to Ride a Bike class.

Looking for something that is about skill- and confidence-building for the older grade-school and middle school set.

Hi Sarah- I don't think there are any- I know Active Trans has had the Bicycle Ambassadors out to visit when my kids were in park district day camp last summer (they were 3 and 5 at the time) and I *think* they might go to schools, though everything is probably grant based and different year to year. Maybe contact them?

I'm one of the Kidical Mass organizers and I'll ask in our group.
