Chrome Bianchi Pista Stolen Bucktown - Corner of Damen and Charleston

My girlfriend and I decided to bike to dinner last Friday night 7/26/2013 and locked our bikes together up to a no parking sign with a u-lock.  Started raining half way thru dinner so we cabbed it home (big mistake to leave the bikes) and came back same weekend and they were gone. I was a sucker for the sucker pole unfortunately and I guess that is how lessons are learned.  Anyway, hoping the good people on here can keep a look out.  I have all the paperwork for it including the serial number and have been relentlessly checking CL and the swap o rama on Ashland and will check Maxwell this weekend.  Also, registered it with the stolen bike databases and filed a CPD report.  If any of you come across the bike let me know.

Chrome 2007 Bianchi Pista.  It's in near new condition, with a front bmx style hand brake and is set to riding free wheel.

willing to negotiate a reward to get this bike back.

Were they locked to the sign on Charleston right outside of Red Door? I noticed them sitting there a couple times, so I don't believe they were taken on Friday night. I'm not positive, but I believe they were still there on Saturday night around 10 or 11, as well.

Yes, locked to the sign on the side of red door.  they dug up the sign and lifted it out.  I wonder if cruising the markets this Saturday is my best option for finding it....thanks for the info.

Sorry to hear. Best of luck getting it back. I don't think Red Door has cameras out front (at least, I have never noticed any), but it might be worth asking them if you haven't already. They are nice people, so I suspect they would be helpful.
