Chicago Tweed Ride 2013

Does anyone know if Chicago is participating in another tweed ride this spring?

Our comrades in PDX are doing one next month: looks capital!

Indeedy! Just posted over at BBC. Let's give the jonesing masses what they want so who (and not the usual suspects) wants to help with a plane, theme, route, etc.?

Where does one purchase tweed for this ride? Can someone recommend a few second hard stores with a good selection?

Thrift store all over the city often have a variety of tweed available. Village Discount on Milwaukee often has some good (and hilarious) finds. Brown Elephant in Lakeview is pretty good as well.
