I missed this tour last year.  Needless to say, I couldn't make it.

Any takers or ideas?  I'd plan on Milwaukee and then Madison but I'd like directions for the western route to Madison Wisconsin.....The eastern route adds a few miles but pretty much keeps me safe from most traffic hazards due to the trail system.

IPP west to Great Western Trail

Somehow make the 35 miles to Rockford, IL from Sycamore, IL

Pecatonia Prarie Path to Jane Addams

Badger State to Capital City

Otherwise I'd like a specific breakdown of your route!

No Ludlow this time. He's busy touring in Vietnam. He'll be back to tour the length of the Mississippi this year.

No we are still figuring this out but I'd bet on a three day tour, returning on the Van Galder bus on the third evening.

Well, if we start in Geneva its about 160 miles, so 3 easy 55ish days or 4 really easy 40 mile days.  Just to confirm, this is on Memorial Day weekend????  I've got vacation time so I don't care either way.

That's the plan....my hours are really strict so we've got to stick to 3 days.  I would prefer decending increments of 70 the first day, 60 the second and then 30 the third, if possible.  Please message me on possible camp sites.

Looks like we're all set for the Western route. We will go past three breweries. Any takers? Three days of fun!

Would you mind posting your route?

Looks great, I'm jealous. It'll be nice to roll through those back roads and hit some elevation changes. :)

Please give us a ride report when you're done! I'd love to do this ride when I have some time off work.

Yep- envane x is "Ride Captain" this year and is giving all the orders. I will have my GPS though....

That is a great route indeed.

I see you are riding through Monroe. Make sure you stop at Baumgartners. It is on the main square in Monroe. Order a Limburger sandwich (it comes served on a napkin) with a New Glarus. That lunch alone is worth the ride...

WORD. But if we have a few minutes for Baumgartner's it would be a nice place to visit.
When are you going?

Next week.  Would you like to meet and discuss?

Sure. New to the area and would like to find some people to tour the area with. Where are you at?
